Asian Palm Oil Co., Ltd., produces crude palm oil from the fresh palm fruits bought from farmers in general. The factory is located at 99, Moo 2, Ao Leuk Tai Sub-district, Ao Leuk District, Krabi Province. The total area of the factory is 120 rais with 100 employees. Crude palm oil which is the product of the company is mostly supplied to the customers (Oil Refinery Company) for the production of vegetable oil for consumption. The kernels gained from the production of crude oil are also supplied to the customer for the extraction of edible oil.
The mission on the production of crude palm oil has the possibility to create the environmental impact on the community. The company, therefore, has determined to reduce the environmental problem. Since 1997, the company in conjunction with other organizations has been active on the study and pioneering of palm refinery plant model especially with the promotion from Department of Industrial Works (DIW) on the application of the Environmental Management System (EMS) under “EMS for SMEs” project. The company attained the certification from DIW, Industry Ministry in 2005. Within 2007, the company has resolved to achieve the international recognized ISO 14001 standards certificate under the following environmental policy.
